Jeanne has been organizing and hosting kids cooking classes for over 20 years.  She is committed to creating an educational and inspiring environment for the children by providing an entire room in her house for the children to cook and play in.  Outside of giving the children a place to learn, interact and enjoy themselves, Jeanne’s goal within these classes is to support the children in understanding food, how it is made, and ideally, helping them form a bond with food and cooking that will stay with them for many years to come.  She is known for being patient and upbeat, and possesses an amazing ability to keep the children engaged and harmonized.

Jeanne is certified in Early Childhood Education through Westchester Community College and is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute in New York City.  She has lived in Pleasantville, NY for over 30 years, teaching the 2’s program at a local nursery school and running pre-school programs at the Pleasantville Recreations Department.  She has strong ties within the community and truly loves the work that she does.
