Cooking with Jeanne offers an opportunity for children to take part in an enjoyable, educational and hands on experience with cooking and baking.  The goal of these classes is to provide children with a greater understanding for food and to instill a confidence in the ability to create for themselves.

What a typical class look like:
After arriving at the house, the children will sit together and enjoy a snack while Jeanne reads them an animated book.  Once finished, they will begin the cooking process, discussing what they will be making and talking through each ingredient, tool and techniques that will be incorporated.  Taking turns mixing and measuring, all of the children take part in the creation process.  Once ready, Jeanne will do all of the baking while the children get a chance to play with the many toys and building blocks available.  After cooled, the kids will admire and taste their final product, and complete any finishing touches if necessary (for example, decorating the tops of muffins).  The children will take with them a few of their finished products to enjoy at home, with their family.
